Are you a MySpace IM user? Are you even a MySpace user? Try this for size... Every MySpacer knows about the annoying ads the site has that slows down even FireFox. Well today's blog is about that. Not the MySpace on site ads, but the annoying "MySpace Now" window that pops up every time you sign in MySpace IM.
Not too long ago I sent MySpace a message telling them about their messenger. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out this screen shot I took...
Above is what I'm talking about. What makes me more annoyed is the fact that they are ADVERTISING alcohol! These ads don't have age verification built in so even underage teens can see these advertisements. At first I had messaged MySpace telling them that it's annoying and it has no real purpose, besides letting users know how many friends we have, the date, the "Featured Profile", and well the new advertisements that are up.
So what's the purpose of this blog? I'm trying to start up a petition to have it removed. Why? Because of this message I got back from MySpace.
"Hello, We appreciate you sharing your comments and suggestions. We consider them important and they will be taken under advisement. Thank you,

That was a reply message from MySpace after a week of waiting. I take it as them excusing it like it's another message. So if you use MySpace messenger and you get that "MySpace Now" window and you are ANNYOED!!!!! Keep it here with updates on the petition site. Together we can have this pointless ad window removed.
Lastly, I just messaged MySpace:
"Hello MySpace,
It was brought to my attention that a MySpace user messaged you guys about a MySpace IM feature.
The MySpace Now window displays only advertisements and recently an alcohol ad was displayed. I'm sure that ads don't have age verification so under age teens can see that ad as well. That troubles me. The user also asked me about a petition to have it removed. But before I get in trouble with you guys, is there any real use for the "MySpace Now" window? Please get back to me about this issue. Thanks and best respects.

I'll post when they reply.
The internet's best torrent movie uploader is back. He or she apparently resigned from posting because there was a site made to make profits off of aXXo. Boycotting isn't only found in jobs, it's now found on torrents. I looked up some information from aXXo and what I found was somewhat interesting. Although this information seems to be old news, I just decided to blog about it.
aXXo, made famous from the uploads they post, is a group of known/unknown people or person. The semi good quality of these uploads get to torrent downloaders to download. What makes aXXo different from other uploaders? The frequency they are posted. Some of aXXo's movies come out sometimes 2 weeks before the actual date for these DVDs to come out. What I mean by that, for example, "Cloverfield" is out from aXXo, released April 3, 2008. The expected release date is April 22, 2008. See what I mean?
As for why aXXo came back... aXXo proved a point. No one can make money when the real deal isn't posting torrents.
