News kinda just came to me about Time Warner Cable cutting about 19 channels. Amongst the channels being removed will be Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, and Spike.

I soon decided to hunt for information and I found this YouTube infomercial.

I do think this a low blow for Time Warner Cable viewers. If all the 19 or so channels do go down the drain, I’m sure people, especially those who are MTV addicts, are going to to switch to another provider such as Direct TV or Dish Network.

That was the case when Time Warner Cable didn’t air an NFL game. Thousands of American’s switched to satellite because of that.

Channels that are in the risk of being removed are: Comedy Central, CMT: Pure Country, Logo, Palladia, MTV, MTV 2, MTV Hits, MTV Jams, MTV Tr3s, Nickelodeon, Noggin, Nick 2, Nicktoons, Spike, The N, TV Land, VH1, VH1 Classic, and VH1 Soul.
