Religion - My point of view

You know, I'm agnostic/deist with very weird point of views. I currently land on the categories of Agnostic, Deist, and somewhat an Atheist. It's not strange to have people look at me with a raised eyebrow when I tell them what I think about religion. Actually, when I start talking to them about what I think and how I feel about it, they end up learning a bit more.

Am I anti-christ for preaching against God? No, I really do respect that preachers that preach about God is a good thing. Faith makes up what people are now-a-days. Is it wrong how I think? I don't think so. Everyone is granted the freedom to choose and how to think.

So I don't really know how to start off so I'll do it the way as if you were asking me.

Q: What religion are you?
A: I don't really have a religion preference. I call myself an agnostic yet a deist when people ask me what religion I am. So what is an agnostic? An agnostic is a person that needs proof of "supernatural" things such as angels and God. A deist is a person that believes that a higher power doesn't control everything yet there "might" be a higher power ie God.

Q: So why don't you believe in God?
A: I do, but not the biblical God though. For a creator to make the universe and everything in it 4,000-5,000 years ago is still an enigma to me. I can't believe in a God that kills for a race, a God that is a narcissist, and one that loves you yet doesn't care about you and sends you to hell (while he still loves you.) My god is one that just made the universe and sat back on his Lazboy chair and watched everything fall into place.

Q: Are you Catholic?
A: Yes, not by choice though. What I mean by that is that I was baptized into Catholicism before I knew what I know now. I now refuse the title of Catholic. To me, Catholics are the biggest hypocrites I know in religion. Gambling is a sin. Did you know that? Gambling and raffling are in a way the same. Catholics encourage their members to preform sins. Not only that, I thought the title of "Father" is just for their god, God. Calling another human a Father, besides your own father, is a hypocritical thing to do if they are really into their religion.

Q: So what do you think about Jesus?
A: Jesus? I think he was real. I kinda think his mom was raped and Joseph was ashamed that the people would stone Mary thinking she subdued the other guy and committed adultery. So the best thing to do is that she was a "virgin" and was pregnant from the seed of the Jewish god. It kinda took over him and he really thought he was the son of God. As for the "miracles" I think they were events of coincidence on his part. Or a very cruel trick.

Q: Are you the anti-christ?
A: Haha, honestly, I've made so many people question their religion that I think I'm sort of the anti-christ. But I don't really think I fall into that category.

Q: What do you overall think about the Bible?
A: It is the most perfectly overly revised book in history. Christians just love to think the Bible is the original copy, translated into their respective language. The thing they don't know, and to some, refuse to believe is that all the original copies of the Bible have been destroyed. The only copies I have heard of are not even included in all the DIFFERENT versions of the Bible. For example, Mary Magdalene's version of her experiences with Jesus. the 12 deciples weren't the only ones that wrote about Jesus. Come to think about it, they were the only ones to write about him, and it came out in the Bible. If Jesus really was the son of God, I'm sure people would pass down stories and write their encounters with him. Funny, anywho. The Bible to me has tons of fantasy stories that intrigue me. Yet children can read it. Even though it has pedophilia, incest, sex, betrayal, abuse, murder, backstabbing, love, hate, chosing wrong over right, and other bad things 4 year olds aren't supposed to know. Plus, any Christian knows now that man evolved but publically refuse to admit it. Any Christian knows the world is older than what the Bible makes it seem. There's just alot of misconceptions about the Bible. All in all, the Bible was an answer to life and how we got here. A book that evolved into the "great book of books." It wouldn't be that way if people started messing with it, removing bad things they didn't like and added "better" things they felt made it better.

Q: What do you overall think about God?
A: For a creator that loves you, he's pretty mean. Apparently sending his "only" son to die in pain for all of us. Didn't the Roman age crumble after Jesus died? You might say God did it. So why send your son to die because of the Romans? The biblical god is the highest enigma of all enigmas. Not a man, nor a woman; knows all, knows nothing; loves you, but hates you. Not a man, nor a woman is the perfect god to imagine. The writers of this new god were very good at their ways of thinking. Knows all, knows nothing is also very perfect. A god that knows your date of death yet doesn't know what you are about to do. What I mean is the freewill. I like to picture the biblical god as a person. This person just read the book of your life. Your WHOLE life. Now this person knows everything about you. Knows what you did and what you are about to do. That is the biblical god to me. Freewill my ass! Freewill to me means that no one nor no supernatural force can know what you are about to do. Loves you, hates you is the best description of God. He loves you becuase you are his creation. He hates you because you sinned. He loves you, then sends you to hell. I feel really, REALLY loved!

All in all, now you know my beliefs. Feel free to express what you think. :)
