Breast feeding – Why the big deal?

Breastfeeding is almost always an “obscene” sight to many of us, so why is it? Maybe our “perfect” social way of life sees a baby sucking on a female part that is “sexual” in many eyes. But what is so sexual about a baby suckling on moms breasts for food?

I see a pathetic society that looks at breastfeeding mothers as outcasts. When I see a mom breastfeeding her child, I see a mother just feeding her baby. America sees a mom possibly getting sexual pleasure by a baby or a baby sucking on a nipple that should be reserved for sexual activities.

One thing you people forget, what you eat, what keeps you alive also has the downside to it too! Think about a burger, it has fats, and meat from a cow that was murdered for your feeding pleasure. Though the circumstance isn’t really the same, the idea to me is.

As humans, we have a mind that is superior to all other animals. We use that brain to think what is right and what is wrong. We see an innocent baby sucking an adult females nipples so we put innocence with a sexual body part. That is why the human mind see breastfeeding a taboo.

But what really ticks me off is when public restaurants kick out a mother because she whips out her breast and starts feeding her baby with it. Why kick out someone who’s feeding? Might as well kick out everyone else who’s eating. And yes, there are times and places for breastfeeding but for loving sake a baby is hungry! And not to mention, Doctor’s do say the breast milk IS healthier than formula :)

I don't agree! The biggest excuse I get when asking females about this is, "I wouldn't do it in public!" But for those that do, I firmly believe it should be kept as far away from the eyes of strangers as possible. Yes, I know that mom's are always in protection mode, and believe babys need to eat when hungry. I myself fear for them though. Who is to say someone out there isn't watching with deviant eyes? It doesn't matter that it isn't sexual. Infact, most mothers state it is so far from sexual that it even hurts at times. But we all have to admit, there is always someone other there that thinks otherwise. And until that stops, I believe breastfeeding needs to be left at home, a car, or under a cover-up towel, with very careful care to not show anything.

Now I know some mothers will fight back, and state, "my baby doesn't like to eat with a towel or cover on his head, would you?" To which I reply, "If I was hungry, it wouldn't matter, and babys have to learn not to like something. Have you tasted breastmilk, or imitation breastmilk? YUK!"

An interesting dialogue is price comment. I feel that it is best to write more on this matter, it may not be a taboo topic however usually individuals are not enough to talk on such topics. To the next. Cheers. breast actives reviews
